Exotic Havasu Canyon, to the west of the Grand Canyon Village on the remote Havasupai Indian Reservation. In this tiny, hidden canyon, brilliant turquoise waterfalls and flowering orchards create a tropical ambiance that can be experienced only by those willing to brave an eight-mile hike, horse ride or a helicopter ride from Tusayan. All visitors, including campers, are required to make reservations (520-448-2731) with the tribe before venturing beyond the village of Supai.
